nel socialismo utopistico di Charles Fourier (1772–1837) , il Falansterio era il grande edificio che avrebbe dovuto ospitare una grande comunità di lavoratori e dove l’assenza di violenza e criminalità avrebbe reso inutili tribunali e carceri.

Il 17 novembre riapre Supportico Lopez, spazio espositivo, progetto curatoriale, ideato e fondato nel 2003 da Gigiotto Del Vecchio, critico d’arte e curatore indipendente ed oggi riproposto e gestito assieme alla curatrice free lance Stefania Palumbo con la collaborazione di Sissa Verde, anche lei curatrice indipendente. L’attività di Supportico Lopez riprende - dopo circa due anni di stop dall’ultima stagione artistica che vide presentate le mostre di Scott King, a cura di Sonia Rosso, Sebastian Hammwohner, Luke Fowler - grazie al prezioso supporto degli Angels of Love, gruppo leader nella promozione ed organizzazione di eventi musicali ed oggi anche importante azienda nel settore della moda. Supportico Lopez è uno spazio di promozione e diffusione dell'arte contemporanea, Supportico Lopez, dal nome della strada in cui è situato, un meraviglioso vicolo nel cuore di uno dei quartieri più caratteristici e difficili di Napoli, il rione Sanità, proprio dietro Piazza Cavour ed al Museo Nazionale, a pochi metri dalla Fondazione Morra e dal Museo d’arte contemporanea Madre.
Supportico Lopez non è una galleria, ma un project space, un luogo in cui la proposta culturale e la discussione sono protagoniste, nel tentativo di aggiungere un altro tassello all'attività ed al fermento della città di Napoli, proponendo ipotesi di confronto e collaborazione con differenti realtà e strutture, sia pubbliche che private.
On 17th November, Supportico Lopez reopens . It is an exhibition centre, a curatorial project thought and founded in 2003 by Gigiotto Del Vecchio, an art critic and independent curator. Today it is proposed and run with the free-lance curator Stefania Palumbo with the contribution of Sissa Verde, an independent curator herself.
After a two year pause from the last artistic season with the exhibitions of Scott King curated by Sonia Rosso, Sebastian Hammwohner and Luke Fowler , Supportico Lopez is active again thanks to the precious support of the Angels of Love, a leading group in the promotion and organization of musical events and today an important fashion firm as well.
Supportico Lopez is a centre of promotion and dissemination of contemporary art; Supportico Lopez is named after the street it stands in, a wonderful alley in the heart of one of the most typical and difficult districts of Naples, Sanità, right behind Piazza Cavour and the National Museum, a few yards away from Fondazione Morra and the Museum of Contemporary Art Madre.
Supportico Lopez isn’t a gallery, but a project space, a place characterised by cultural proposals and discussion in the attempt to add another piece to the activity and ferment of the town of Naples, suggesting hypothesis of confrontation and contribution with different realities and both public and private structures.
